Rhetorical Analysis Essay is the one I want the paper to cover. Letter from a Birmingham Jail by Dr. Martin Luther King. This literary work is, in my view, the single most powerful piece of rhetorical literature from the 20th century. This one letter convinced not simply the clergy the letter was addressed to but an entire nation to bring Civil Rights to African Americans after generations of oppression. the other essays were 1.Report Essay 2.Review Essay 3.Rhetorical Analysis Essay Purpose To present the essay you found most valuable in terms of what you learned about writing in the course. Assignment Examine each of your three (3) major essays and determine which one taught you the most about communicating effectively in writing. Collect all work related to that essay including pre-writing, drafts, instructor feedback, peer comments, etc. Organize them into a coherent collection which will be accompanied by a 500 – 800 word reflective essay. In that essay you will clearly explain why you selected the essay as the one that taught you ‘most’ about writing. You may use ‘limited’ first person point of view on this one which means ‘me/my/we/our/us’ pronouns can be readily used. Avoid the “I” pronoun as those generate a personal narrative (diary or journal entry) tone. Remember that you are the narrator of the essay so the “I” pronoun is already inferred. Instead of, “I think my Rhetorical Analysis Essay was the strongest essay I have ever written” Go with, “The Rhetorical Analysis Essay was by far the strongest example of my writing.” Deadlines and Submissions Follow the deadlines for each part of this assignment as listed on your course calendar.
