pivotal goals of consumer health literacy efforts

One of the pivotal goals of consumer health literacy efforts is to design educational materials that attract as well as educate users. In this Assignment, you design a health information document on a topic that is of interest to you.

To prepare:

Select a health issue of interest to you.

Identify the audience or population that you seek to educate about this issue.

Search the Internet to find credible sites containing information about your selected topic.

Review the two health literacy websites listed in this week’s Learning Resources. Focus on strategies for presenting information.

To complete:

Design an educational handout on the health issue you selected.

Include a cover page.

Include an introduction that provides:

An explanation of your issue and why you selected it

A description of the audience you are addressing

In the handout itself:

Develop your handout in such a way that it attracts the attention of the intended audience.

Include a description of the health issue and additional content that will enhance your message (i.e., key terms and definitions, graphics, illustrations, etc.).

Recommend four or five sites that provide clear, valuable, and reliable information on the topic.

Of the items that Dr. Dave Ulrich mentioned in the YouTube video (in the reading assignments for the week) for preparing for HR transformations, select two that you think are most important for the transformation you will recommend in your third paper. Here’s the link for easy reference
http://youtu.be/WsFnCR7_dgI
The two items that stuck out most to me, in preparing for an HR transformation was, involving customers and involving suppliers.
Some companies invited customers to HR meetings, allowing them to hear the organizations future, and asked if they did those things, if they would buy more or be more involved with the organization (The RBL Group, 2013). Getting current customers feedback is a great way to improve the product or service currently being offered, and to be able to evolve it into something that will keep those customers coming back and attract new customers. Concerning RFC, getting customer feedback will tell them why customers are not continually renewing their memberships, and give suggestions for improvements that could be done to make RFC stand out and attract more customers.
Secondly, the organizations suppliers should be involved in the transformation. The suppliers are those who are filling the organization with the product/equipment customers are using. With RFC, fitness techniques and equipment can, and are always changing. Suppliers are going to be able to inform HR and the organization of new equipment being developed, and what equipment pieces are “trending.” Involving suppliers will help keep the organization up to date with equipment, to draw in customers with diverse workout wants and needs.

CLASSMATE #2
Of the items that Dr. Dave Ulrich mentioned in the YouTube video (in the reading assignments for the week) for preparing for HR transformations, select two that you think are most important for the transformation you will recommend in your third paper.
The Two I selected are:
HR Talent Management –  An organization would need to have the right approach to employ employees that share the same dream and has the knowledge, ability and Skill set to demonstrate such attitude on the job. Employers would need to know how to attract, attain and motivate best talent in their organization. According to Ulrich employers at times focus is shifted to pay, pension and disputes that they forget the need of talent as a valuable asset in a knowledge-based economy (Ulrich, 2008).
Regulators – Its important for organization to know who they govern by and the do’s and dont’s for their organization.

Review the differences in predictive and prescriptive studies

Review the differences in predictive and prescriptive studies and select a predictive or prescriptive article that you found in your literature search. What are the independent variables (IV), dependent variables (DV), and mediating variables (MVs) that you find in the article? How do determining IVs, DVs, and MVs help you discern the theory tested in the research? In your particular article, what risk factors are identified, or what recommendations are provided?

Death with Dignity

This homework post has two part answers to it , the discussion part and the journal entry part and please no plagiarism on both parts. so both parts is done by watch in the video. please read the instructions carefully. I hope you know the APA fromat guidelines.. This is a HPRS class 1303– End of Life Issues ..This s all due February 11, 2018 before 11:59 pm central time. On the journal entry part if you can give me a page to a half a page of words I will be ok.

Death with Dignity Discussion

1.      Discussion
What  did you learn from this video?  What are your thoughts?  Support your  answer through the use of peer reviewed scholarly sources from MedLine,  Ebsco, Proquest, and/or Google Scholar.  You must provide at least three  additional sources to the video.
Please write a 300 to 500 word essay adhering to APA 6th Edition formatting guidelines
Watch this you tube video: Death with Dignity Lecture and Attestation Statement, link is below
2. Journal entry #1
when you watch the youtube video summarize what you learned from it.
The Journal Entries provide a way for students to make personal  connections to the material and to apply the concepts they have learned.   Journal entries should be written in a well-developed paragraph rather  than just a phrase.

This is the rubric that I will be using to grade all journal entries (assignments) throughout the semester:
APA Journal Entries (Assignments) Rubric
Score _____/50
____ (5) In-text citations include necessary info in parentheses after borrowed material
____ (5) References per APA
____ (5) Grammar and spelling
____ (35) Application of three or more concepts from the learned material
