Must be from an article that is at least 2 pages in length.  Double spaced, times new roman font no larger than 12 and margins no greater than one inch.  Must be between 800 to 1000 words in length.  Title page with the title Article Review of “Title of Article”,  Must include article reference on separate page at end of article review.  Must use correct APA format for all parts of the paper.  Must include a summary of the content of the article, new information learned from the article.  How the information will be helpful to the student in the clinical area of this semester.  Must be a study or research project and cannot be an editorial, commentary, advertisement, etc.  Copy of article must be included.  Must be from Clinical Journal of Oncology Nursing, American Journal of Nursing, or AORN Journal.  Article must be published within the last 5 years. I have attached picture of approved nursing journals for article review.  I am a first level nursing student at a technical college.

The thesis statement should be one or two sentences that summarize the key argument of the research paper. In other words, the thesis statement is the main idea of the entire paper.
Students should also submit an annotated bibliography of at least five (5) scholarly sources that will provide support for the thesis of the paper. Research for sources should be done through the UMUC Library. Sources should be peer-reviewed and academically credible. Wikipedia, Answers.com, Yahoo Answers, About.com, Infoplease, and other non-scholarly websites and blogs are not acceptable.
The annotated bibliography should list the proper citation for the source and include the annotated paragraph beneath it. Annotations should summarize the work, note its strengths and weaknesses, and discuss important points useful to your research.
