A term paper shall be submitted in 4 parts.  It is to be a research paper on the practical application of principles learned this semester.  You are each to pick a company to research.  You are to explain how your company used one of the main concepts discussed in this course.  What were their successes, failures, ways of implementing, etc.
The topics for the 4 parts are, Product and Service design, Quality Management, Demand Forecasting, and a fourth topic of your choice.  Each of the papers is to be 2-3 pages long, and include your sources for each in a bibliography.  Therefore at the end of the semester, you will have written an 8-10 page paper about your company’s use of Operations Management.
