    For this Assignment, you will watch all of the videos listed below, and then select one video to identify basic concepts and principles used in psychology. After reviewing the video, you will complete the Unit 3 template located in Course Documents which will provide you with a connection between the major psychology studies and concepts.

    Then, complete the template in Course Documents answering the following questions:

    1.  Describe what this study demonstrated about human behavior and mental processes using the results of the study along with information you have learned in Units 1-3. All four chapters will be attached below
    2.  Explain what is meant by nature versus nurture influences and which ones you see demonstrated in the study.
    3. In your own words, describe social observational learning. Is it demonstrated in the study you selected? Why or why not? Explain your reasoning using reference to the study.
    4. Do you think this research was ethical or unethical? Explain your reasoning using APA ethical guidelines described in Chapter 1.

A recent trend in the consumer marketplace is the ability for a consumer to share their personal belongings, such as their homes/apartments, autos, tools, bicycles, and so forth. The shared economy has now become a multibillion dollar business.

  • Explain how this concept is disrupting our traditional economy.
  • Describe whether the shared economy is creating new value for the consumer or if it is just replacing existing business.

The Rogerian Essay: This essay should be between 900 and 1000 words. It must include a cover letter and an annotated bibliography

 
 

Must be in The Rogerian Essay format
First, you will choose a topic of interest. Then, you need to research that topic in order to specify the topic’s scope, so it can be easily discussed in a shorter, 900 word essay.   For this essay, make sure that you choose a topic with two opposing sides.
This essay must include a minimum of five sources.  Three should from the APUS databases.  You may use eBooks; however, as discussed earlier this semester, books generally are not as current as peer-reviewed articles.  You may also use primary sources (interviews, statistics, etc); however, these primary sources should be obtained from experts within that field.  If you cannot find strong sources for your chosen topic, then change your topic. If you have a question about the validity of a source, please email me, or post your question to the open forum.

 

Make sure to include the following sections in your essay:

 

1.      Introduction and claim.

 

2.      Background.

 

3.      Body.

 

4.      Conclusion.

 

Within the body of your Rogerian essay, make sure to include the following in any order:

 

·         The background for your chosen topic.

 

·         The opposition – use an academic tone, and do not show bias.

 

·        The strengths and weaknesses of your opponents claim.

 

·        Your claim – use an academic tone, and do not show bias. ·
Discuss the warrants for your claim and the opposition in order to find the common ground.
·        Show the common ground between your opponents claim and your claim.

After you have written your essay, please make sure to revise the content of your essay. Lastly, be sure to edit your essay by checking grammar, format, and smaller technical details.Please make sure your essay is written in third person.
