ARTICLE REVIEW

Read the attached articles. For each article do the following:
Include the full reference for the article using APA writing format.
State the main goal(s) of the study
Summarize the research design, and discuss the research method(s) used to answer the research question or assess the hypothesis.
Summarize the results of the study.
Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the study’s research design.
Provide a discussion on how the study can be moved forward.  Include two well phrased research questions that could be used in follow-on studies to the one reviewed.
Format:  You should have 1-inch margins on all 4 sides of your papers; your title page should include your name and date; you should use 12-point times new roman font throughout.
Avoid using the first person in formal writing and instead write with an academic voice throughout. Academic voice is usually written in the third person (he, she, it), not first person (I, we) or second person (you). Be consistent in voice and person. See Grammar Girl, “First, Second, and Third Person,” Quick and Dirty Tips for Better Writing, January 20, 2011, http://grammar.quickanddirtytips.com/first-second-and-third-person.aspx/. Furthermore, the academic voice avoids abbreviations, contractions, jargon, and slang. Even informal academic discussions are more formal than causal chat among friends.
The body of your work should be made up of no more than 20% direct quotes.
The assignment for each article needs to be between 1-2 pages SINGLE SPACED per article.

Article review

Must be from an article that is at least 2 pages in length.  Double spaced, times new roman font no larger than 12 and margins no greater than one inch.  Must be between 800 to 1000 words in length.  Title page with the title Article Review of “Title of Article”,  Must include article reference on separate page at end of article review.  Must use correct APA format for all parts of the paper.  Must include a summary of the content of the article, new information learned from the article.  How the information will be helpful to the student in the clinical area of this semester.  Must be a study or research project and cannot be an editorial, commentary, advertisement, etc.  Copy of article must be included.  Must be from Clinical Journal of Oncology Nursing, American Journal of Nursing, or AORN Journal.  Article must be published within the last 5 years.

Your article reviews should include all 4 articles posted (half page-one page for each article, make them separately )and could also pose questions for discussion, contest points, and provide critical commentaries.  Please do not summary the article content, just go straight to argue your opinions from the first sentence of your review and provide deep understanding and commentaries. You can  also pick  specific paragraphs or angle to analysis your point of view. There is no other research needed, just focus on these 3 articles. The sentences and grammar should be simple and easy to understand since it is not a formal essay, it is just a oral presentation.
