Task 1
For this section you will need to complete a report based on either your current or
a previous role, or a simulated workplace situation, where you have been part of,
or managed an HR function within an organisation.
a) Outline the functions of the HR department and the roles and responsibilities of
each member of the HR team. Attach your job description and the job
description of each of the team members.
b) Provide a list of the key policies of the unit or department. Explain how these
are maintained, updated and version controlled.
c) Explain how your unit is managing diversity in the workforce.

For this you will need to ask your manager, client or workplace supervisor to
complete a Third-Party Report.
