Describe the process you plan to use to conduct research, identify findings, and develop the Comprehensive Project that is due in Unit 5.

  • Present a brief outline indicating how you intend to organize the project deliverable.
  • Review the processes and outlines of other students, providing objective feedback that will help strengthen the effectiveness of their efforts and the quality of the finished product.

The final project in this course requires that you visit the Web site of a local health care organization (e.g., hospital, long-term care facility, ambulatory care clinic) in your town, city, county, or state and asses its goals and mission.
Once you have assessed your chosen facility’s goals and mission statement, complete the following:

  •  describe and discuss 4–6 important competencies that you need to have to effectively lead your chosen organization, based on its goals and mission.
  • Explain why those competencies are important and how the information you gleaned from this course will improve your own leadership style and strategy.

Research

Find at least three related articles and/or research/statistical reports on the current trends in Health Care Market in USA.
Use the FNU-Electronic databases and external sources like www.ceoexpress.com (not limited to) to find the material needed above. Craft a “report” based on the findings after studying the materials and arriving to conclusions from their content. Do not make comments/descriptions separately by articles; make comments based on the interpretation from the material; use tables, figures, etc. if needed to illustrate your rationale. So, the material to be used must be all-related. The submittal must follow the APA style requirements, and must be more than four pages long.
Submission Requirements:
1. Written answer of 100 words or more in APA style for all the questions, so ample explanations in your own words based on your rationale and experience are needed to get an “A”

Research

Select an existing company, possibly a publicly held company in order to find easily accessible information. Research the company and compile a SWOT analysis identifying a minimum of four elements under each of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Explain each element with an eye on how this affects the company overall. Once the table has been compiled, address the following questions: 1. How does this tool assist the marketing and management teams to solve problems within the company? 2. Based upon your research and this SWOT analysis, what recommendations would you make for the management team? Your APA-formatted submission must be a minimum of three pages (not including the title page and the reference page). The table may be single spaced. References must include a minimum of two credible sources.
