Negligence
Mark sued a bank for injuries. He was not paying attention as he entered the bank because he was looking at his phone. And he fell suffering $10,000 in injuries. Prior to the fall, the janitor had buffed the floor. The janitor had an IQ of 70. Normally, the janitor was closely supervised. However, today his manager was extremely tired, and the manager didn’t notice that the janitor had carelessly used way too much floor wax that was extremely slippery. Is the bank liable for the janitor’s negligence (be sure to go through all the elements.) Additionally, note that under the doctrine of responde at superior the bank WILL be liable for any potential negligence of the janitor employee? What defenses will the bank assert? Assume that the jurisdiction does not recognize assumption of risk or contributory negligence. The jurisdiction does recognize the defense of comparative negligence.

Nanotechnology and Nano machines in production
Need a progress update 3 . Must be around 800 words
important instructions to the project
My topic is Nanotechnology and Nano machines in production
Choice of Project:
You are in the best position to determine your choices of a project, as you are most familiar with your current situation. Every student’s choice will be uniquely different. Past projects have been very diverse, some have been undertaken at a current work-site, some were done for school districts; others have been done for nonprofit organizations. Some have involved business startups, others solving existing problems. Some have involved designing web pages and web sites, others developing organizational solutions. Some projects are research-based. Think of things that can showcase the range of your abilities or increase your knowledge.
Content:
All progress updates need to be written in MS Word or equivalent. The content needs to be brief and to the point, but complete. Be proactive in your writing, do not write about what you didn’t get done with excuses, but rather what you will be doing and how you are going to insure that it does get done.
**Submissions of project ideas for review through Canvas will start on January 8th at 6:00AM. **
If you have not yet developed a specific project, submit a description of the specific project requesting approval as soon as you are able – do not wait until the next Progress Update.
All Progress Updates need to contain the important information relating to your overall progress. If an item is important in your individual progress, put it in the update
Mandatory Content by individual Progress Update:
- Progress Update 1: Initial general project ideas or possibilities; steps that you will be taking to investigate/research. If you will be doing with a outside company, discuss the project goals and objectives with the company or organization or steps that you will be taking to find a company or organization. Then, what are the steps that you are going to be doing next.
- Progress Updates 2 – 9: Where are you at in the process of the project; what has been done; what steps are you going to be doing next.
