Activity Instructions
Create a professional PowerPoint to organize your presentation. Summarize and analyze your experience with the Business Strategy Game. The four main areas to focus on in your presentation are: what did your team learn from the game, how did you work as a team, what strategies did your team use to make decisions, and what decisions might your team have made differently. This is your opportunity to work as a team to decide what is of importance to include in the presentation.
Writing Requirements (APA format)

  • 10-12 slides, not including title slide or references slide
  • Speaker notes on each slide, minimum of 1 paragraph per slide
  • Title slide with topic and name of student

Statistics

Using one of the Data Tools and Apps from the U.S. Census Bureau, choose some interesting census data and perform a statistical analysis on it in order to answer a question you want to answer with the data. Do not just copy and paste or summarize the data that you find. Use an appropriate statistical tool and vide your thought process behind the tool you chose as well as the results of your statistical analysis. Use this week’s lecture to aid your analysis. Cite the data source that you chose in your post.

Sales Force

Conduct some independent research on SalesForce. Write a 2-3 page paper with information on the following.

  • What is SalesForce? What are some of the applications that it offers?
  • What are the hardware and software requirements for them?
  • Offer at least one example workplace scenario and environment for where SalesForce would be the best option to use and why?
  • Explain how it would be used for this environment. Include the personnel, business processes, hardware and data that would be involved in its use and why?

Social Media Analysis

Respond to instructor feedback by making appropriate edits to your social media analysis draft from Unit 4. Incorporate the following additional elements:

  • Executive Summary.
  • Ethical analysis: Briefly describe an ethical issue, current or impending, that is related to social media use in your chosen company or industry.

Prepare a written 8–10 page analysis of your company’s social media presence for company leadership that provides a clear appraisal of the company’s social media properties and compares them with its competitors. The paper should contain the following well-defined elements:

  • Executive Summary.
  • Introduction.
  • A description of all social media platforms currently deployed by the company.
  • A summary of the company’s and competitor social media sites using qualitative and quantitative measures (inspired by your work in your Unit 2 assignment).
  • A SWOT analysis.
  • Ethical analysis.
  • Conclusion: Include your general impressions regarding the state of your company’s social media presence. Also include a paragraph that describes an emerging area of concern or opportunity that you have identified, and why it merits further investigation.
