SUGGESTED INDIVIDUAL RESEARCH (TERM PAPER) TOPICS
Topics must be related to cross-cultural issues in education.
• Socio-cultural impact of discrimination
• Race relations
• African-Americans, Hispanic-Americans, Asian-Americans, etc.
• Racism in the United States of America
• Inter-group relations
• Reverse discrimination
• Minority rights and hate crimes
• GLBT rights
Materials should contain required content, correct spelling, citations, punctuation, grammar, and reflect a professional manner.
Written Assignment(s) Criteria
Individual research papers must be typed, 1” borders all around, double spaced, 12 point font, Times New Roman, include references, conform to copyright laws, and consequently follow the American Psychological Association (APA) 5thor 6thedition format. The research paper must contain a minimum of seven (7) cited references; with no more than one (1) website citation. Content pages (excluding title and reference page) must minimally number (10) ten, and be no more than (15) fifteen. The bibliography must include cross-cultural communication literature pertinent to the topic of your research paper.
