Synthesize how you think these personal values are related to your family or cultural systems. Reflection: Reflect and address the following: Explain how this ethical autobiography relates to your identity as a professional counselor. Given your ethical value system, determine any potential conflicts in values that might emerge between you (as a professional counselor) and your clients. Describe how you will manage these conflicts in counseling. Determine what, if any, values might impact your ability to effectively apply professional codes of ethics (e.g., ACA, the NBCC, the American Mental Health Counselors Association [AMHCA], etc.) or relevant laws (identify specific codes/laws). Your final product will be in a Microsoft Word document and be approximately 5–7 pages in length. Utilize three to five sources from professional literature in your research (do not include relevant codes of ethics and laws). Professional literature may include the Argosy University online library resources, relevant textbooks, peer-reviewed journal articles, and websites created by professional organizations, agencies, or institutions (.edu or .gov). Critical Review of an Article on Attention and Concentration In Sport and Exercise It is important that you learn how to critically review research. In our society today, we are exposed to many studies. Some are excellent, some are useful, and some are invalid and unreliable. How can you determine what information is useful and what is dangerous? The most important thing you will learn from this course—and from your college education—is how to critically evaluate information presented to you. Critical thinking involves asking five questions: who, what, when, where, how. 1. Find and read an article in the media, journal, Wall Street Journal or a video clip that reports the results of a scientific study on attention and concentration in sport and exercise. You must include the link to the website. 2. How accurately did the media report the study? 3. Answer the above five questions about the article (Who, What, When, Where, and How). Upload assignment using the Week 1 Critical Review link below. Please be sure that your article is research based.Your review must have at least a 200 word count. Directions and Critical Review Examples to follow below: Directions You will write a one-page critical review of the article. The review should answer each of the five questions. You must cite your source. If it is a website, please make sure you put the entire web address. Remember you are evaluating critically, not just summarizing. CRITICAL THINKING REVIEW EXAMPLE Critical thinking involves asking five questions—who, when, what, where, how. You should organize your paper in the following manner: Your Name Critical Review Author, I. (date of publication). Title of article. Name of Publication, volume #, page #-#. OR Author, I. (date of publication if available). Title of article. Retrieved [date accessed] from the World Wide Web: [Web site address] Where: Where did this article/Web page appear? Is this reasonable? Is the publishing entity respectable/responsible? Who: Who wrote/published the article/Web page? What are their credentials? Are the credentials appropriate for their argument? When: Is this current information? If yes, do you think it will stand the “test of time”? If no, is it outdated or is it classic? What: What argument is/are the author(s) making? Is it logical? Based on what you know, is it reasonable? What evidence is given to support the argument? Can you think of evidence to refute it? How: How was the supporting/refuting evidence collected? Is this credible? What kind of evidence do you think needs to be gathered to test the argument? Did the author(s) do this? Summarize the quality of the article (it does not have to be a “good” article in your opinion), and whether you consider this to be a worthwhile and trustworthy article. Did you think it was biased? Could the author have underlying motives? What do you think? Is it valid? NOTE: Do not simply answer yes or no to the questions above. Write a thoughtful response to each section

Literary Analysis Short Story
Literary Analysis For this assignment, you will be required to offer analysis on a work of fiction. You may choose from the following two options. Your analysis can focus in on any topic you wish to discuss, but you must offer a thesis statement that will serve as the basis for your analysis. When looking at a literary work, you may choose to examine elements such as: How does a character develop and why? What are the moral implications of the character’s actions? What the primary message or theme is of the story and how/why that is relevant to contemporary society? How does setting influence the action or serve as a primary character or the story? How does the story relate to modern interpretations or current societal trends? What does a particular literary critic think of the piece and argue against him or her. Regardless of your thesis, you must be sure to have a central argument. Without this, you will not have a basis for your essay. Your Literary Analysis may include as many outside sources as you feel are relevant to your topic, but limit your use of them to no more than three. Option I Select a short-story to write about. You will not have restrictions in selecting a short-story, but you will not be allowed to select a novel. You may choose to select a graphic novel, but if you do you must select an individual graphic novel rather than a specific series. For example, do not examine X-Men as a whole, but rather a particular story portrayed in one graphic novel. Option II Select a film version of any book. Be sure to pick a movie based upon a book and not the reverse. Your analysis will consist of the same set of criteria, but you will focus exclusively on the film. Essay requirements: 12 pt. font – double spaced – Times New Roman MLA style Minimum 4 pages in length. Maximum 5 pages in length. Be sure to include textual evidence to support your claim in this Literary Analysis. Your Literary Analysis must include one outside academic source.
Sociology Research Paper-Suicide
This Sociology Research Paper project will provide you with the opportunity to conduct a sociological analysis on a topic of your choosing. You will write a 5-page analysis of an issue of your choice (see suggested ideas below). For this paper, you will need to do some outside research to explore your topic and use course concepts to analyze and organize your findings. You will need at least 4 peer reviewed article sources in addition to your textbook. You will also need a reference page listing your sources in correct APA format. The length of the paper requires you to condense a lot of material, be sure that you narrow your topic down to workable paper. REQUIREMENTS: Your paper must be typed, double-spaced, one-inch margins, 12 point Times New Roman. Your paper should be 5 pages of written text in length. (this does not include the title page or the reference page). You must use peer-reviewed journal articles as your sources; failure to do so will significantly lower your grade. You need a cover page for the paper; Follow APA format for the title page. Proofread your paper. Deductions will be made for excessively poor grammar/proofreading. Your paper should follow a general flow, give consideration to writing your introduction, body and conclusion, however keep in mind that you may have subtopics within each. Be sure you stay on topic and fully address your question. It is very important that you do not write your paper as just a summary of the articles, for example, do not organize your paper and talk about each article one by one. In other words, your paper should include the following basics: Define your question in the Sociology Research Paper and Identify why your question is important Outline what others have found out about your topic (gathered from your articles) Which sociological theory applies to the topic and explain why What your conclusions are based upon what you have read

Project Completion-Project Management
Project Completion Eventually, the aims and objectives of the project will be achieved and you will feel like the project is finished. Think again. You still have some steps to ensure that your project is closed and complete. The first is called project closure. Project closure consists of completing any outstanding project items, making sure all project-related contract commitments have been fulfilled, completing a final budget review, thanking those who helped with the project, making sure all project data and documents are stored for later access and analysing what worked and what did not. Project closure is not a one-person process, and will often involve several project stakeholders. You will need to make these stakeholders understand that although the aims and objectives of the project have been completed, their input may still be needed for project closure. The second step to ensure your project is closed and complete is the post-implementation review (PIR). The PIR is used to assess and evaluate the project. Specifically, it analyses whether the project fully completed its scope, aims and objectives, how the results of the project could be taken further in the future for additional benefits and lessons learned from the project. The PIR should be completed shortly after the project has been closed, but be sure to allow time for any last-minute project changes or results to take effect. Every project may not require a PIR, but it will usually be beneficial to the organisation, especially in an organisation that is new to project management practices or organisations that place high importance on project management. To prepare for this Activity: Review the websites from your resources that provide information on project closure and the post-implementation review. Search the Internet and the University of Roehampton online library for additional resources about project closure and the post-implementation review. Think about what is involved in a project closure, and why a project closure is performed. Consider what a PIR entails, and why a PIR is performed. To complete this Activity: Explain at least two potential issues that may arise when a project closure is not performed, including how you might resolve these issues. Be specific and use examples from your own personal experience to support your post. Explain two ways a post-implementation review can enable a project manager to improve future projects. Readings will be provided. Harvard referencing style.
